We just heard on CNN, where some shrink recommend profanity to address pain. I've always felt that swearing is good, and not to swear is pain in the ass. Here's an article I wrote back in 2007, which is not the latest shit; the latest shit is that the world thinks profanity is bad.
PROFANITY
by Ray
I have felt for many years that whatever we are told to do, we should do a 180 degree to find the truth, and this typically applies to the medical industry. And another good example that comes to mind is the subject of profanity.
Profanity is generally forbidden by all schools. There was such a noise made about this, all religions forbade it. And in some cases, parents watched the mouth of the young ones who use bad language. I remember my older brother Ned, he had a special Irish language of swear words, but he forbade us children to use it.
I have felt for a long time that the diarrhea of the bowel was a positive move by the body to rid itself of some irritation. So, if the mentality is burdened by some irritation, and profane language is used, we must ask ourselves, “Is this mental diarrhea also a positive release of irritations?” Of course, the answer is yes.
Profanity would not be seen as an infraction had it not been for some holier-than-thou group that identified and proclaimed it as a sin in the different cultures and religions. And according to them, it seems alright to kill animals and destroy the earth, but whatever you do, “don’t be profane”.
I have, however, recommended its use to many and all have a positive reaction. And commonsense says that it must be intelligent people who understand that we must change, so be profane intelligently and have fun with it.
We have been prim and proper unrealistically, and we constantly use profane language under our breath as we excuse ourselves with manners and etiquette. We need to look at this seriously...
