Cruise Radio Network Advisors
Cruise with Bruce Radio Show
In January of 2011, Bruce Oliver decided to expand radio
programming on the Cruise with Bruce Radio Show and form the Cruise Radio
Network. The goal is to provide more content relevant to those who
travel and cruise. Part of this initiative included the development of a
series of programs dedicated to global events that the traveling public
would be interested in. The first of these programs will be delivered
during 2011 with the help of the London 2012 Olympic Committee's Office of
Communications. In order to make sure that the network delivers
programming that will be worth the time you spend listening to them he
decided to form two groups: The Program Advisory Board and the Survey
Advisory Group.
Cruise
Radio Network's Advisory Board is a group of individuals that advise
me on the long range plans, strategy and programming starting with
the first 13 week series on the 2012 Olympic Games. This group will
help promote programs to their community of friends and family. I appreciate
their assistance and counsel.
Qiana Martin is an
international sports reporter, soccer enthusiast and professional
soccer player. Qiana and I will be working on travel plans to go to
the World Cup and Olympic Games in Brazil. She was recognized by
British Airways for her work with the soccer community and was a
guest on my
radio program on Rio de Janeiro. I appreciate her support and
recommendations and look forward to working with her on future
projects.
Tony Pace has been in show
business for over 35 years. He has been a headliner in the Tropicana
in Vegas and at the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City. Tony's Up on the
Roof show is a must see. The evening is full of music, comedy,
improv and audience participation. Listen to his
radio program on the entertainment business and Las Vegas. I
appreciate the hours of time that I've spent consulting Tony about
the program.
Charlie
Schmitz is an old friend of mine. He and his wife Kim live in
Missouri. He has a very successful insurance business in St Joseph.
Please contact him if you live in his area. Once again I look to
Charlie for his feedback and appreciate his help.
Wells Thompson, #15, is the midfielder for the 2010 MLS
Championship team the Colorado Rapids. After playing for Wake Forest
he was drafted by the New England Revolution. You have to my
radio show to hear about his experiences with the MLS and how
his deep faith helped him through difficult times. I appreciate his
help.
Michael Cervin
lives in Santa Barbara, California with his wife. Prior to moving to
Santa Barbara, Michael worked as an actor in Hollywood. He
had guest appearances on several well known TV shows including: 3rd Rock from
the Sun, Grace Under Fire, The Young and the Restless, It’s A Miracle, and
others. Ten years ago, Michael started writing
about the wine industry. He's been a wine, spirits and food judge for
competitions all over the world. His articles on wine, food and travel have
appeared in over 70 magazines. He is currently the restaurant critic
for the Santa Barbara News-Press and hosted a travel related radio
program. Click here to
Listen to Michael talk about his MOON Travel Guides to: Santa
Barbara and the Central Coast and Cambria & San Simeon.
Cruise Radio Network's Survey
Advisory Group is made up of a list of individuals who have agreed
to provide feedback on radio programs by filling out surveys that
they've been sent by the network. They have also agreed to help
promote programming. Without their assistance delivery of
programming relevant to those interested in travel would not be
possible. I thank them for their assistance.
