How do I find a reputable place to take my RV in for repairs or service near Mesa, AZ.?

Q: I need to take my Class A RV in for general maintenance and service as well as get the windshield replaced.(has a large crack in it) We are visiting from Canada and are wanting to make sure we only do business with a reputable company. We are looking for anyone who has had good experiences with any of the RV service shops in the Mesa, AZ area, Thanks!

A: your best bet is to ask around at the various RV parks down main st in mesa and see what people are saying. If your just looking solely at price, or if your concern is with quality, can make a difference. one that comes to mind that I have heard good things about is RV Renovators by gilbert rd and main st. www.rvrenovators.com, there are also lots of other rv shops all up and down main st in that area,

How do I get tickets to see a live show at TBN in Costa Mesa?

Q: I have always wanted to see a show live there. I called their business office number and couldn't find anything. Can someone please help me?

A: Usually the broadcasts are free, however sometimes they ask for a love offering for guests who had to travel long distances. I have been to several in in the Nashville area and never needed a ticket.

You can go to their website and submit your question there:

or post on their facebook page at:

Have you tried doing a search for "tbn tickets costa rica" or something similar? (Personally, I wouldn't want to see anything of TBN's even on their television station. However, this is the way I would search for tickets.)

Why don't you read the Bible for yourself ? Or do you need someone to interpret it for you ?

Is living in metropolitan Denver right for me?

Q: Here are some questions of concern I have for serious relocation consideration - please as much first hand or trust worthy info as posible

1/ I hear the Denver people are fake, snobby, close minded, ignorant, cowboy mentality - is there much truth to any of this?
2/ One guy online said the restaurant food is "mediocre at best", I suppose this is completely weed wack?
3/ I expect to live in or near the southern part of Denver (low crime). My question is once I get outside the Denver city borders (as of course I can not hibernate in one city) - is it pretty dull as far as appearance - restaurants, shopping, businesses, etc... for the exception of a few dull looking strip malls. South Aurora and Lakewood (major suburban cities), and Centennial (a tiny but seemingly nice looking town) look decent online - are they and how about outside Denver city borders in general?

Well the Mesa/Chandler/Gilbert area in Arizona may just be too hot for comfort, being formally from Michigan, I am considering the Denver area instead, possibly Plano/Carrollton Texas.
Although the above are my current finalists, below were my main criteria:
1/ Commercial dense (shops, restaurants, businesses, etc.)
2/ Nice looking metropolitan
3/ Relatively low violent crime (not crime infested eg. Phoenix)
4/ Much areas with housing under 40 years
5/ Nice looking housing (not Oregon or Washington cheap look all wood housing)
6/ Away from the coast, west coast, and major flooding

Thanks!

A: I too was born in Colorado. Here is my take as a non-suburbanite:

1/ I hear the Denver people are fake, snobby, close minded, ignorant, cowboy mentality - is there much truth to any of this?
Yup especially in the 'burbs

2/ One guy online said the restaurant food is "mediocre at best", I suppose this is completely weed wack?
True especially in the 'burbs. I rarely go to restaurants outside Denver. There are a few exceptions so I guess it depends on what you like to eat. If you like chain restaurants, you will be in the right place.

The 'burbs here look like 'burbs everywhere else. Cookie cutter houses, strip malls and shopping malls with the same stores you find in every other mall. Plus too many people

Hi, I'm 29 and was born here in Denver and have lived in the Denver suburbs my entire life, so I will do my best to answer your questions. :) (I copied and pasted yours so I could answer them here).

Here are some questions of concern I have for serious relocation consideration - please as much first hand or trust worthy info as posible

1/ I hear the Denver people are fake, snobby, close minded, ignorant, cowboy mentality - is there much truth to any of this?

I am none of those things, and neither are most people I know who live here. As with any place in the world, you are going to meet nice people and not so nice people.

2/ One guy online said the restaurant food is "mediocre at best", I suppose this is completely weed wack?

I think there are many, many great restaurants to choose from here, with great food!

3/ I expect to live in or near the southern part of Denver (low crime). I'm not sure where you have gotten your info about crime, but I live in the wayy North Metro area, North Westminster/Thornton, and this is an upper-middle-class area where most things are new in the last 10 years. There are beautiful homes, apartments, parks, stores, restaurants, and malls. Centennial is ok. There are more high-end and low-end parts of every town in the metro area. In every city around Denver, and within Denver itself, you will find million dollar homes and trailer parks. So I don't think people can really generalize about any one city. You might want to take a vacation here and drive around and kind of get a feel for it. There are newer and older parts of town within each city.

Well the Mesa/Chandler/Gilbert area in Arizona may just be too hot for comfort, being formally from Michigan, I am considering the Denver area instead, possibly Plano/Carrollton Texas.

I would say Denver fits all those criteria. I'm not sure what your line of work is, but I will tell you that jobs are very tight here. (Just as with almost everywhere, I'm sure). But I thank God every day I live here, it is incredibly beautiful, with so many fun things to do. :) Hope that helps!

    Thanks!

1.) Yes, that is true to a greater or lesser extent, but there are always exceptions to the rule. I think most folks in Denver are very friendly and down-to-earth, but there definitely is a cowboy mentality for a lot of people. It is cowboy country, after all. You can't expect Chicago or New York when you're living in a cowboy state.

2.) Denver's culinary scene is mediocre. It's not a food desert, but it's not an oasis either.

3.) Denver is an extremely suburban metro area. Even the city itself seems somewhat suburban, lacking urban density, etc. I live in the suburbs and I love them, but do realize that much of the area can come across as sort of vanilla and bland.

Given your criteria, however, I think Denver would be a pretty decent choice. But it can be kind of a bland, dry, cowboy kind of city at the same time that it's a up-and-coming big city.

1 How do you suppose one could be "fake, snobby" and "cowboy mentality" at the same time!? Yes, you'll find both types, along with many others, here. More people who are very into the outdoors, exercise, and healthy than any other.

    2. You can find good food. Denver has its share of foodies! I know some REALLY good places! Ever eaten at a Red Robin? Not too bad for a franchise, and it's based in Denver. If you like good Mexican, you'll be in heaven! Tons of cuisines, lots of American Fusion, Veggie, and other.

    3. Lakewood's okay. Pretty generic, in most ways, as suburbs go. Golden is pretty. Aravada has a really cool old town. Centennial wasn't even a town until about 15 years ago. Aurora? Are you SERIOUS? No. Stay away! They have almost the worst police department in the Metro area...second to Denver, itself.
Castlerock is supposedly nice (I don't really spend any time there.)

Yeah...not sure what you're looking for on that second list, but...no flooding in Denver, though the occasional rainstorm will cause water to pool up in the roads. Nothing like, say, the Mississippi in the Spring!
