Q: how far is it from las vegas to mexico? I'm irish and would like to travel from Mexico to Las vegas for 2 days. What visas, etc, would I need to drive or fly?
A: If you plan to fly from Mexico to the United States you will need to get a prior Electronic System Travel Authorization (ESTA) to enter the country under the Visa Waiver Program. It can be applied for free of charge on the website of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/id_visa/esta/ ..
The ESTA is not required if you plan to drive and cross the land border. You will need to get an arrival/departure record Form I-94W at the border and need to pay the entrance fee of $6.00. Be aware that it takes about 6 hours to drive from the Mexican-American border at the Pacific coast in California; from the border at the Gulf of Mexico it will be 24 hours continuous driving..

Q: Do you how how early we have to arrive at the los angeles airport to catch a plane to las vegas.
A: I typically arrive at least 1.5 hours prior to my scheduled departure. This ensures that in the event that there is much traffic or a problem checking in that you are covered.
Q: Was in Cancun the week of Aprill 11th and ran into a woman named April. Â She stated she was 38 and a travel agent in Las Vegas. Long story short, things were going cool, and my brother opened his mouth and she left. I was speechless by it all...I had no idea what had happened. The only bad thing is, i never caught her last name...so I'm swallowing a lot of pride to reach out on this thing to see if someone may know someone who knows someone who may know who she is. She was at a hotel with her family. I've tried calling both hotels to speak with her, but without the last name, it's an impossibility. Please don't be rude and obnoxious...this isn't a personal ad or something, I just don't know where else to look. If you knowsomething or someone that fits this criteria, it would be a lot of help! She was short with black curly hair. That's all I'll be able to describe so I can validate if there is a question.
Well I do have a little more. She grew up in Philly and moved to Vegas. Her dad was military and her parents have an apartment in cancun, but since she had family there too and she got a discount she was there too. I'm just hoping someone will read this and maybe know who I'm talking about. There are a lot of travel agents/agencies in Vegas. I'm not sure that would be all that successful either
....she was, and may still be at Oasis Palms hotel
Q: I saw a show recently (probably the Travel Channel) that showed a bar in Las Vegas that served dessert cocktails. Like a PB & J drink or a peanut butter cup drink, etc. I am headed to Las Vegas next week and would appreciate any help.
A: Le Village Buffet,
Rosemary's Restaurant etc the list is long friend.
Thanks.

If you thought Las Vegas is all about gambling, weddings and top notch hotels, you’re wrong. The city has it’s wacky, weird parts that a first time comer won’t get to see, but for those coming back to Vegas it’s a must to see what’s beneath the mantle. So book your Las Vegas hotel and check out these five quirky sights if you’re looking for some wonderfully peculiar and offbeat attractions.
1. Pinball Hall of Fame

I bet you didn’t expect Vegas to have a Pinball Hall of Fame. After all, who did? Well folks, they do. Starting with the old wood rail models of the 1950s and getting to modern, complex machines, the Pinball Hall of Fame looks more like an arcade room as it has more than 140 games to stare at. Entry is free, but if you want to donate keep in mind that all the money goes to the local Salvation Army organization.
2. Haunted Vegas

There’s a reason why Las Vegas is known as Sin City, and it’s not only about gambling and sex. For those of you who want to know more, hop on a Haunted Vegas tour (two and a half hour) to learn all there is to know about the city’s other side. Guides, usually dressed as morticians, will give you a glimpse of the notorious murders, suicides, and ghosts (including Bugsy Siegel, Elvis, and Tupac Shakur), or a bit about Sin City’s gangster past.
3. Liberace Museum
