Once a soldier has been sent from Iraq to Kuwait, how long does he usually have to wait for the flight home?

My boyfriend has been sent to Kuwait 3 days ago, and I was wondering how long do they usually keep them there before sending them home? Any Army Wives?? :) Thank you!!!
A: Well if hes coming home they usually have to go through some post deployment training, stuff like therapy and checking in their weapons and gear. That usually lasts two to three weeks.

It took me about two, maybe three weeks, from the time my boots hit the friendly sand to when I got myself on a plane headed home.

Is he coming back for R&R, or is he redeploying? I was only in Kuwait for 3 days, both when I was on R&R and when I redeployed.
It really depends on how busy they are there.
