Can i transfer to UC Irvine with a low gpa?

Q: I'm going to begin my sophomore year at a cc and I need to transfer to a UC as a junior but my gpa is a little less than their minimum requirement. I didn't take things very seriously the first year and because of that I dont meet the requirement by .1 or .2.
I know the lower your gpa is the less chance you have but I really need to transfer out so is there a possibility that I could get into UCI or any UC?

A: If you are below the minimum requirement you will not be accepted. Students who are slightly above the minimum are turned away due to lack of space. It is my recollection that the Riverside and Merced campuses have lower minima. They are also probably less competitive for transfer admission, just as they are for undergraduate admission.

A: The liens must all be recorded. Go to the County Recorders Office (many are online) and search. Usually you need to correct spelling of the owner's name to search. You can find that at the County Tax Assessors Office by searching the property address.

They can not automatically follow you. Each loan and each state has limitations on what the bank can do. Contractually, you do owe the amount left on the loan so there is sometimes the possibility that you might owe them money in the future.

what are the chances of me going to uc irvine?

Q: -i have over 200 hours of community service (which includes helping at the soup kitchen and tutoring at an elementary school)
-3.5 gpa (will have 4 ap's by next year, and 3 honors)
-1650 SAT (i know its really low, but i am planning on taking it again next year, hopefully to about 1800)
-i am in about 4/5 clubs

A: Well UCI is still new so they allow many applicants in. They allowed 56 percent in in 2007. I think you should apply. I think if you take an SAT workshop or something like that and raise your SAT score then you would have a good chance of getting in.

Does UC Irvine have a BS in Nursing degree avaliable?

A: The closest major I found on the website was "Nursing Science". Hope this helps.

Irvine Hires Carl Sandburg to Pen a Poem

In an effort to bolster the local economy and lift the spirits of its residents, the city of Irvine brought the poet Carl Sandburg out of his cryogenically frozen state for a few days.

He walked around Irvine and wrote a little poem.

You may remember Carl.

He put Chicago on the map with this:
