Gay couple are looking for a room in Dublin for December?

Q: Hello, we're a very tidy and quiet couple of girls currently living in Mexico but we're planning to move to Ireland around December 2009. We're looking for a cheap room to rent in Dublin. Please, if you know any place or friend who can rent us a room with a double bed contact us soon (squattrozampe@yahoo.it). Thanks in advance for your attention! Bye from Mexico!

I am more than sure you could find these answers by looking it up on the internet. The same one you are using to post this question, as a matter of fact. Why on earth would being gay have anything to do with house hunting? Just curious.
  • Britannia Boy says:
You'd have to buy your own bed.
Why would you want a used one anyway? That's disgusting!

How do I book a coach from Belfast to Dublin?

Q: I'm going to a concert in the O2 on the 24th November and I need a bus from Belfast to Dublin but I honestly have no idea where to begin. Can anyone tell me any bus services that run from Belfast to Dublin? Like a website that I can book it on? Or is it still too early to book one?

Thank you for answering, sorry I sound stupid..

A: for me ulster bus is the best way because they run a 24 hour service..you can normally pay on the bus, though some of the drivers will tell you to go and get a ticket from the booth (in europa coach station) you can probably book in advance as well but I've never done that, even at easter time...google the translink/ulsterbus website to find out if you can book online..

i wouldn't go booking the train until they fix the line because you need to get off and get a bus from drogheda at the moment...it took me well over 3 hours to get to dublin city centre a couple of weeks ago.

Ulsterbus might be able to help you out. Google them.
  • David J says:
    Ulsterbus is the coach service you're looking for;

    However if I were you i'd get the train, the service between Belfast and Dublin is called the Enterprise, its quicker and its very cheap if you book online £15 day return (absolute bargain);

There is the bus, and the train would be possible too. Busáras and Connolly Station are both within walking distance of 02, though it is far enough - 20 minutes at least - especially if it is raining!!

note about the link to buy tickets online -
Apparently you can't buy any cross-border tickets from the Bus Eireann website (Bit of a flaw in the system if you ask me). Apparently you just have to buy them in person on the day http://www.askaboutmoney.com/showthread.php?t=109180

Also, there was a coach service organised from Belfast to a Dublin concert last month - it might be worth while emailing them to see if there is a similar coach being organised for November.

    Enjoy the concert!!!

Er, go to the Belfast bus station on November 24th, buy a return ticket to Dublin and Bob's your uncle.

How much is it to get your eyebrow picered in dublin ?

Q: im 13 and thinking of getting my eyebrow pieced and was how much it is and any good places to get it done in ?

A: Here in England its between £20-£30, aslong as you choose somewhere with a good reputation and a clean shop you'll have no problems, check up on the laws because i think you might need to be 16 before you can get it done.

YOU ARE A BIT YOUNG,MY OPINION, BUT IF YOUR RENTS ARE WITH YOU ABOUT 65 POUND.
  • Max Skinner says:
I get my done for 35 Euros at the top of Stephen Green shopping Centre, then few more Euros for the jewellery. check out www.wildcat.ie

under 18 has to be accompanied by parent :-)
  • Like a Fox says:
    It's around 40 to 50 euro
Most places will not allow facial piercings if you are under 16, even if you are accompanied. Unless of course you lie..
If you don't look 16 however that won't work

Legitmate places certainly won't allow it if you haven't a parent with you
To be honest, you'll end up having to take it out at school for safety reasons among other things and it will probably close up, piercings can close up very quickly if they aren't in long.
They didn't let me have a small nose stud in school so an eyebrow piercing definitely wouldn't be allowed.

How much does it cost a year of course to get a "student visa" in Cork or Dublin?

Q: Hi! I'm a mexican girl and I'm planning to move to Ireland for at the least 1 year or more so I wonder If you have any list of schools to attend but I need the cheapest you know. Please, even an approximately price. Have any of you done it? Thanks!

A: Its really Expensive, You pay international fees which can be thousands of Euro. Most foreigners who study in Ireland have a Research grant etc unless your really wealthy.
Best thing to do is look at the website of each university under international students and fees and get a better Idea that way. I looked at UCD Dublin, most Unis don't state the fees until you ask, I cant find them on the site .drop them an e-mail would be best thing to do.

Q: I am planning a trip to Dublin, Ireland Nov 20-30 and want to know if this is a good time to go. I am a 21 mixed male and am wondering is it easy to meet people? Any suggestions on which night clubs to go to and which days are best? Preferably RnB or hip-hop? Also are there things to do during the day? Thanks!

A: XXI on D'olier street (locally known as 21s) has a hip hop night every Thursday that's pretty good.
Here's a list of upcoming hip hop events in Ireland
