Q: I have a team who will be traveling to the Detroit area for work (Southfield to be exact). I am looking for Marriott hotels that are near the area. I know there are a couple in Southfield and a Renaissance in Novi, does anyone know if these are good areas? It would be great if there were restaurants around the area as we will be going every week. The Renaissance looks like a nice hotel, but I have no idea what Novi is like. Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated!
A: The Marriott in Southfield is actually very nice. If they will be working in Southfield that would be the best option. Novi is a bit of a commute with morning traffic as well.
Q: Hi,
I was just wondering if any GOOD dance competitions/conventions were taking place in the Detroit area during the months of January, February, March and April. I have gone to ones in Dearborn. Also, if possible, could you include the host hotel.
Thanks for your help!
A: Showstopper - Battle Creek- March 11-13
Hall of Fame - Walled Lake- May 14-16
Also in Macomb - May 21-23
Star Systems - Detroit - April 29-May 1
JUMP - Dearborn - February 18-20
Starquest - Detroit - February 18-20
Also in Detroit - May 26-29
Nexstar - Lake Orion - March 26-28
Also in Dearborn - March 26-28
Good luck and I hope I've helped!
Q: The Detroit water and sewage department provides water for the metro region, Brownstown to Mt. Clemons. If its a provider of services to the region why is it not under regional control?
A: no one else has the resources
Q: I live in Detroit and want to attend school in Flint Michigan and would like to know if someone here can please tell me how far away I would be driving everyday to get back and forth to school. You're answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Jennifer you retarded bimbo, if you thought that my answer was stupid then you should have never responded to it then.
A: Distance is 69.74 miles. Time it takes: 1 hour & 7 mins.
Q: I mean kinda like how Chinatown is representative of Chinese people Detroit can be representative of Africans. All the primitive tribal behavior can be seen in places like Detroit where everyone shoots each other and steals as they please. What do you think?
A: no cuz there are still some white people there... and a white government is still trying to keep some civilization there
in 50 years when whites become a minority in the entire u.s... then it will be
this world needs at least one white nation... where onlyyyyyy whites live

The whole city is one giant ghetto with the exception of 1 or 2 areas.
All the people with money live in the suburbs. The average income is $27,000 in the city but is much higher in the burbs. Anyways im sure the mariott is okay because its basically Renaissance center which is fine.
Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield are very nice suburbs, while Southfield is not a nice area. Novi is not bad, but you can do better.
Southfield has good and bad neighborhoods. Stay close to I696/M10 "The Lodge Freeway" and you should be fine there. I can't stand Novi, but it's not an unsafe area. Both areas should have plenty of restaurants, plenty of things to do, and neither is really a bad area.
