travel costa del sol?

Q: how much time should I budget for a trip along the Costa de Sol in Spain? Know of any cheap clen hotels?

A: Nerja on the Costa Del Sol is one of the most beautiful resorts in Spain. It is one hour east of Málaga airport. The place still retains the feel of an old Spanish town. The scenery in the area is stunning. There is so much to do in the area, so many towns and mountain villages to explore.
One of the most stunning tourist attraction in the whole of spain and one of the top attractions in the world is the Alhambra Palace and Generalife, which is just over an hour from Nerja along an amazing route through the Sierra Nevadas.
I go to Nerja frequently. I have friends who holiday three times a year in Nerja, and have done for 10 years.
The Costa del Sol stretches from close to Gibraltar to Nerja.

I am going to do some fishing when in spain and really need some advice!!?

Q: I will be beach casting in and around Estapona and Manilva on the Costa del Sol. I'm going early next month and can't seem to find any info anywhere regarding what I should be fishing for and baits to use, times to fish etc. Can anybody help with some advice please?

A: try using one of those little spanish fu c kers

Fish at any state of the tide from the beach at Estapona or away from the village at Manivla just down the coast a bit and use any kind of fish bits for bait or a heavy spinner if the sea is OK and if you can distance cast with spinners. The tidal range is only around three feet on a good day anyway. Early morning and late evening are normally better than through the day but you can catch fish almost any time. Night fishing can be very good.
The breakwater round the harbour at Manivala has rock piled round it and isn't a great spot for fishing. Boats come and go and the area can get busy. So can the beach all the way along at Estapona...it's a drawn out place, not compact on the beachy bit anyway.
Spanish beachcasters can be very long. You might feel like you have a baby one if you take an 11-12 foot beachcasting rod from UK. 14-15 feet rods are not uncommon.
All the way along the beach road at Estapona there are shops and cafes, plenty of places to eat and stock up. The bus runs along there for local and long distance services. The E-17 main highway comes down to the coast at Estapona and then back inland either side of it. There is also a local beach road straight along to Manivla from Estapona, which is walkable.
Long distance bus route is Malaga-Marbella-Estapona-San Roque-Algeceras.
Around six a day. At Algeceras you can change buses for the local bus to La Linea for a trip to Gibraltar. You can walk onto Gib from the promenade road at La Linea 5 minutes walk straight down from the bus station.

For tide times see on here or buy a tide table from a shop at Estapona. It's easy enough to see anyway and so small in range it doesn't affect the fishing a great deal which is why there isn't much info about it.

Best wishes to Maria, Marianna, Mari, Margeta, and all the other marine catches who have been so much fun.
Wear a hat. Estapona is hot. :))....err, hot, that is.

Heyaa

Okay so in september / october this yr i am going to spain for two weeks with ma mamie!.. not sure exactly where but near malaga airport lol.. um (mum tld me name but 4got!) ye.. near costa del sol / malaga :)

&&ii no ive got ages but i will be going shopping soon for clothes etc so likee what to pack? clothes, makeup, extras etc ??

Im 15 && pretty girliee !

BTW no smart *** comments .. i wont need a gun or condoms or anything dumb like that so if you answer me that then.. dude.. ur a weenie and Y!Answers hates you!

LOVEE XOX
Bailey, you retard.
i included my age because i am a teen, i am not an adult so costs, passports etc and all that,
i can garente you that a 25 y/o will pack different to a 15

ALSO, YOU TARD

"PRETTY GIRLY" AS IN I AM QUITE GIRLIE

..im usually quite polite on the internet but honestly tards liek you are beinging to cancel out my patience!

A: Find out what the temperatures are for around those months in Spain and pack accordingly.
Make sure you have enough clothes, when packing it's a good idea to match the tops to bottoms so you know what outfits you have for each day. Bring clothes that you can mix and match so you're not bringing loads of clothes :)

You will need toiletries (cream, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, hair products etc.)
If its sunny, then sun cream and sunglasses :)
You might want to pack some pads/tampons just in case
Extra stuff like towels unless they are provided,
Shoes!!
Bikinis if its hot :D
Deodorant
Hairbrush
Toothbrush and toothpaste
iPod
Book?
Underwear
Make-up
Pyjamas
Jewellery
Chargers for phone, iPod etc
Camera

Thats all I can think of :)
Hope this helps! Have fun!

We're travelling from the Spanish coast to Madrid, what is the cheapest and quickest way to get there? Spain?

Q: A group of us are travelling to Spain in 2011 for a Scotland footie match and I’d appreciate any advice offered.

The match venue has not yet been announced but will most likely to be Madrid. We will be staying in a coastal resort, likely Valencia (East), Costa Blanca (East) or Costa Del Sol (South).

Can anyone offer advice on which of these resorts has the best transport links to Madrid and which method of transport is best value for money? Also any associated websites would be good to know?

My early search has found that the train from Costa Del Sol is furthest in distance but quickest and most expensive by high-speed train.

Cheers

A: Spanair (aka Spanish version of Ryanair)
