well honestly, i've been to quite a few shops and i'd rather shop on line, much more variety and way cheaper prices. The place i shop is called lustfuldesire.com and never had a problem, or you could just look up another sex store online.

Which knife is best for everyday uses?

Q: I am living in south carolina and would like an all purpose knife. im on a college campus so i am often walking late at night so id like something that is good for self defense as well as everyday stuff like opening boxes, etc. how long of a blade is good? i was thinking around 4-5"? Obviously looking for a folding knife and would like a high quality blade and handle. Are there any good shops to buy from in columbia, sc? and what brands or models would be best for what im looking for and good places to buy from? thanks for the help

The assisted opening is just as fast as a switchblade, but legal in most places. I dont know anything about the site in the link, just the first to have that knife. Mine was given to me by a friend, so i dont know the best place to get one.

Sog and Buck make some nice knives!

I have had a leatherman wave for many years, It holds a great edge, Has 2 blades and other attachments. It is one tough tool. Highly recommended.
  • jmm83164 says:
Kabar Warthog ,this is my favorite carry knife ever. Wide thick blade , holds edge well and sharpens easy.It is light and has grip surfaces everywhere so no matter how you hold it the grip is sure. I have the clip point they also make one with a tanto style blade.

Whatever knife you pick, and there are many good makers out there - ensure that you know the law on knife carry. The link is one place to check.
  • darkroommike says:
As in another answer I like the Kabar folder, I have the one with the Tanto Point--not as good for tool use and harder to sharpen. My everyday carry is a small 3-blade Case pocket knife. And never underestimate the Swiss Army Knife (the Victorinox or other superior makes). I've had the same one for 25 years. It sits in my survival kit, (I consider a cork screw a survival item!).

And forget about a knife for fighting unless you are trained as a knife fighter! You'll be better off with a can of pepper spray.
  • Jesse reloaded 5 times says:
i like the benchmade mini barrage and the torrent for assisted opening knives

and even if are not a trained knife fighter what are the chances the guy you go up against is?
    its an even playing field

there is no such thing as a knife fighter anyway.
because they have never actually been in a real knife fight either
and if they were they would be expecting to to try some kungfu shit on them so if you just grabbed your knife and went ballistic on them you'd win

i got this out of an article by some guy who went all around the world to train with other "knife fighters" and he said that when he just grabbed the knife and pulled a prison yard style stabbing he had never lost a fight because that isn't what these guys would expect when someone comes at them with a knife

Grocery stores in Nashua, NH?

Q: I recently got a job in Nashua, NH and I will be moving from Columbia, SC. What are some of places to shop in Nashua? I looked for Kroger or Publix, and I couldn't find them there. I am not very rich, just want to go somewhere where I can find good stuff at a great price.

A: There aren't any Kroger or Publix in this area of the country.

Market Basket - There are a couple of these located in Nashua and they are the cheapest! It's where I do the majority of my food shopping.
Hannaford - Better selection than Market Basket and a little more expensive but it has a great meat department. Check out their weekly sales! They also have a Pharmacy with great prices on prescriptions.
Shaw's - A nice store but very expensive unless you have a Shaw's card and buy only the stuff on sale.
Stop & Shop - Another expensive grocery store and something like Shaw's.

Sallys Beauty Supply in Canada? Can I shop there?

Q: Can you shop at Sally's in Canada if you don't have a hair dressing license? I know you can in America because I did when I was in connecticut. But I need more bleach! And I can only get it at Sally's but I need to know if I can still shop there now that I'm back home. I live in British Columbia if that helps any. Im 14, I'm just an average person and I do my own hair cut, dye etc so its kind of important that I shop there :) thank you
