Does anyone know of an Immunotherapy for Cancer facility in Carlsbad California?
Q: Heard of this a while back and now my cousin has cancer of the larynx, doesn't want chemo/rad/surg, saw what it did to his brother, thought this might be an alternative but don't have contact info and have been searching on web for days and can't find anything, please help!
A: Immunotherapy is used to treat some cancers, but laryngeal cancer is not one of them and all of them also use surgery first. If your cousin chooses not to be treated that is his choice, but he will not find a doctor to treat him with immunotherapy as it would be useless. He will end up having surgery it is only a matter of time.

Army and Navy academy in Carlsbad, CA?
Q: I want to go to the academy because I have a dream of entering the military when im older. I am not doing very well in high school so that's another reason why i want to go also, I want to get the discipline and leadership skills they give you at the academy. What are the chances of a person that's in danger of failing to get into the academy? I really need this.

We don't know your grades, year, Ssat scores or if there are any associated non academic issues. Military academies generally look favorably when the idea to apply is initiated from the student rather than from the parents. It is not located right on the beach but if finances are an issue, NMMI costs about a third of Army and Navy for out of state students.

What are the pros and cons of Legoland?
Q: My family are planning to go to Legoland in Carlsbad, California soon and we want to know if it's worth going. If we don't go we might just go to L.A. and go to the beach and shop and stuff. So what are the good things and bad things about Legoland? Please and thank you. :)
A: The park is designed for young kids, s no big thrill rides. The Lego sculptures throughout are neat, though.

If you're over 10 years old, it'll be a wasted trip. Adults love the lego exhibitions (I loved San Francisco, Washington DC and New York), but that wasn't enough to warrant a whole day there. We went for our 4 yr old several years ago, and would not go back. Demographics: kids 4-9, and their unfortunate parents.
Now, if you really love legos, I won't stop you. -
Legoland is a good park to go to, but definitely, you'll only need one day to see everything and one time would be good enough.
Pros: Lots of amazing lego exibits and fun little lego areas. The rides are cute because they're made of lego and some of the new rides have cool themes like Lego Knights and Lego Indiana Jones. My favorite thing there was the fried apple fries with cream and cinnamon. It was so good! There's a stall that sells them right next to the Medieval Dragon ride.
Cons:
The rides are not thrilling, after a while, teens and maybe children will get bored at looking at all the lego structures.
I REALLY want TOMS shoes, where are they?
Q: I really want TOMS, but I don't know where to get them. I don't want to order them online either. My friend said I could get them at the Carlsbad outlet mall or some outlet mall in san diego...Also, I have really small feet and am like a size 1 or 2 so that size might be hard to find in places like Nordstrom (they can also be found here).
If you have TOMS, do you like them?
A: Aren't those the shoes that look like slippers? I only saw them in Nordstroms you can try Journeys.com
Places to shop near Legoland?
Q: I'm planning a trip to Legoland (which is in Carlsbad, CA) at the end of August & want to know of some nice places to shop, not too expensive. I'm looking for nearby outlets & malls within about 30 minutes driving distance from Legoland.
