Are there any stores near Bucharest, Romania, Europe that are like Hot Topic or Spencer's or stores like that?
Q: I'm in Romania for the summer and I want to buy some clothes, but none of the stores I've seen are like Hot Topic or Spencer's. They're more preppy-ish. I need to go school shopping here because I'll be back in North America a few days before school starts and I won't have time to buy clothes or supplies.
A: There are bound to be some, however that is going to be quite a load to carry back to North America. Besides, preppy never goes out of style.
You don't need new clothes on the first day of school anyway.

Q: In transit in Bucharest, Romania
A: A Schengen visa waives the transit visa (type B) requirement for Romania, provided the visa holder meets the general entry requirements to Romania:
• holds an onward flight ticket
• holds sufficient funds to cover the stay (€ 50 per day)
Third-state nationals who must be in possession of an entry visa, in accordance to the provisions of the EC Regulation nº 539/2001, are exempt from the type B transit visa obligation, hence being allowed to transit Romania within a period of maximum 5 days, under the following conditions:
If they are holders of one of the following travel documents, issued by member states of the European Union, that fully apply the provisions of the Schengen Acquis (namely: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovenia, Slovakia, Sweden, Hungary, as well as Denmark, Iceland and Norway):
- A “uniform visa” (Schengen visa), as mentioned in article 10 from the Convention for the application of the Schengen Agreement;
