Q: Hey there, I was wondering if there were cheap boat trips to Greece and cypres.
And more importantly, what is the cheapest way to travel to Europe (and get to like London, paris, even Italy, etc).

A: if you have time and less money try to travel by land either in a pullman "greyhound"or with a friend in a citroen 4 horse power engine for fuel efficiency!For Greece and Cypres you have to shop around.

Are Beirut and Istanbul similar?

Hi everyone,

Myself and a mate of mine are going to Istanbul and Izmir in mid-September. I recently asked a question about Beirut and would consider going there in October but not if the two are very alike. If this is the case, I would wait until next year to go.

Is this indeed the case? And is mid-end October a good time to go to Beirut?

A: Ok first of all, let me say I've visited both cities,

Beirut is beautiful: green mountains, sea, and the actualy city, high rises, great shopping areas, very crowded, yet very packed in as well, and much much smaller than istanbul. People are very liberal there as well, and you will have a good time

Istanbul offers what Beirut offers, as well as much more historical aspects. Istanbul is huge, with about 12 million people, i think. Its a metropolis, in the Levent business district, it is a tourist area, Ortakoy, Galata, it is a residential area, it is a queit area filled with green space and water..

So to conclude, Beirut is small, yet very hyped up, there is barely any green in the city itself because verything is so close together, but beautiful geography is surrounding it.

Istanbul is huge, hyped up (many clubs on bosphorus), queit nice green parks, historical places, and beautiful location,, on the shores of the bosphorus.. if i were you, I'd defintely go to Istanbul first.
