I am wondering where I can buy some good quality airsoft guns in Bangkok, Thailand?

is there any other fees whne i arrive in bangkok airport?

Q: i am set to go to bangkok end of this month. I already booked for my two-way flight, when i get there, i'll be staying with a friend. i will be travelling on a budget. i only have minimum cash with me. is there any other fees that i need to pay when i arrive bangkok airport? customs or environmental donation, etc? how much is a regular taxi within city limits? any other tips? thank you!

A: No there are no other fees unless you have customs to declare.

Airport Taxi to town is approximately 400 baht. Currently the only easy way to go after midnight. If you go this way after you pass through customs and go out the door ingore the touts in the main hall go outside to the Platform of Passenger Terminal on the 1st Floor, Gates 4 and 7 and there will be a person there who will ask you where you are going. Say Taxi meter and your destination. They will get you a cab that is headed back to the area you are going.

How does Bangkok and Pattaya keep under age girls away from prostitution and the bar scenes?

Q: It seems to me this is so likely to happen considering it is so hard to make a respectable, comfortable living for the natives.

A: Sorry to burst your bubble Gavin, but this happens... Not often, but I have knowledge of at least 4-5 girls it the area where I live who have been sent to Bangkok by their parents (13-14 years). And that wasn't to work at a factory..
Just have to go to the local karaoke bars, they have 13-14 year old children working. And that is not for the pleasure of foreigners as it's 98% Thai customers.
And as long as Thais themselves can't keep their hands of children, then it's not easy to stop.
My wife's cousin was 13 when she had a baby with a 28 year old man. No problem with the family though, because he had money.
That's the real life in the rice fields..

Wakeuphappy, once again you are way off. I don't know where you live, but of course by looking at your previous posts, it's a place where 80% of the females are prostitutes. But it's not like that in Thailand generally. It happens, and it's sad when it does. But don't make it worse than it is..

Has the price of flights from Bangkok to Siem Reap gotten any cheaper since 2009?

Q: I heard that the monopoly over Bangkok Airways being the only airline flying this way was over in 2009. Does anyone know what the prices are now?

A: Bangkok Airways still has the only direct non-stop flights to Siem Reap from BKK. You can also fly Vietnam Airlines or Thai Airways to Siem Reap, but not non-stop and for a lot more than the 10,700 Baht that Bangkok Airways charges for their cheapest fare. The monopoly may be over, but not the price fixing.
I heard from a friend who just recently returned from Siem Reap to Bangkok, that the Cambodian Govt. replaced the old road from Poipet to Siem Reap last year, and now the bus or taxi journey is much easier, more comfortable and faster.
