the malaysian edition is different in only one way. it has a 'rare' or 'unreleased' track on it. sometimes there will even be a tab in the insert with facts or lyrical translation. thank you.
What is the difference between International Business and International Studies?

Q: I'm going into International Studies but I'm just wondering what the difference between the two are. I believe that there is a difference between them.
September 27, 2009 at 01:09 PM by Higher Ed Professional
A: International Business tends to be just that -- business. It focuses on economic policies, transnational commerce and trade, corporations, management, marketing, and other related fields.
International Studies tends to be much more comprehensive and more policy-focused. Foreign policy, human rights, culture, military affairs, language, diplomacy, immigration, national security, and many other topics are included, in addition to business.
Basically, International Business is better if you want to work in business, economics (usually private-sector), marketing, or private trade. International Studies is better if you want to work in diplomacy, human rights, policy-making and analysis, or politics.

What is a US foreign policy which is strongly affected by both domestic and international concerns?
September 20, 2009 at 02:27 PM by JohnZ | Posted in Politics
Q: 1)Though often separated into distinct spheres, international and domestic politics interact to produce policy outcomes that are not, strictly speaking, always optimal. A political system exists in domestic and international arenas with inputs and outputs flowing from and to each and effecting policy accordingly. Choose a specific American foreign policy and discuss how that policy is shaped by both domestic political concerns and international politics. Be sure to discuss the relevant structures and processes involved.

A: We sacrifice our domestic freedoms on occasion to appease our supposed allies. For instance, travel. It would have been far easier after the 9/11 tragedy and the shoe bomber attempt to just be more careful searching Muslim passengers or people with Saudi passports, but we didn't want to offend the Saudis or other Muslims and instead decided to make travel horrible and unpleasant for everyone. This is silly because the only hijacking of American planes over the past 30 years have been committed by one group - Muslim men, 90% of them with Saudi passports. So this is an example of where we let political correctness and appeasement of an ally take precedence over the people and our rights as US citizens.
There are many, many more - we turn a blind eye to China's labor abuses and human rights issues because we buy lots of cheap Chinese crap. We don't worry about Myanmar or Sudan because they aren't trading partners of ours. We don't put up a real wall between Mexico and the US because we want the Mexican government to continue to be friendly to our imports. Etc. Etc.

It would have to be the invasion of Iraq because we had to do it all on credit blowing out the deficit and we pissed off most of the world.

I know I know I know!
White republicans, mainly in Miami, import cocaine from South American countries stimulating those Latin economies. White republicans then ship this product to ghetto minority neighborhoods all across America. The income from this goes to fill republican political coffers. The income made by low level ghetto drug dealers goes toward neighborhood improvement (a stolen BMW in every garage) and ACORN. This is US foreign policy, approved by all, since Obama, as a Chicago activist, never even bitched about the price of crack-cocaine in the hood.

Time for Europe to surrender IMF reins
May 23, 2011
By David Marsh , MarketWatch
BEIJING (MarketWatch) — As Dominique Strauss-Kahn gives a new meaning to the International Monetary Fund’s programs of enhanced surveillance, international horse-trading is intensifying over who should replace the Fund’s disgraced former managing director.
It would seem a thoroughly good thing for a representative of one of the emerging economies to take over the job. With his bail release to a safe address in Manhattan, Strauss-Kahn’s noble yet distinctly lived-in features — a cross between Al Pacino and Jean-Paul Belmondo after they’d not shaven for three days and then had a fight — are due to be banished at least temporarily from our TV screens.
A new image is surely required: the specter of the two original Bretton Woods powers, the U.S. and Britain, uniting in common sense. President Barack Obama and his perfectly formed accomplice, British Prime Minister David Cameron, should stride before the TV cameras, and jointly state that it’s time for a non-European to take the helm at the IMF.
