TIP: NYC off the beaten path dining parks and city views

Visiting NYC and want to visit off the beaten path dining, parks and city views then you’ll be interested in Mike’s tip. He says “I have lived in the New York area almost all my life. While there are the usual like Ground Zero, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, etc a few off the beaten path ideas would be dining in Little Italy, The Cloisters in Upper Manhattan (being in Ft Tryon Park where the Cloisters are located makes you forget that you are in the hustle and bustle of Manhattan) and DUMBO with Brooklyn Bridge Park, The views of Manhattan are awesome from there especially at night.

Travel tips for NYC with singer songwriter Sheri Miller musical guest

Saturday, July 16th, 2011

Listen to my musical guest Sheri Miller. We’ll be listening to her music and tips on visiting NYC. http://internetradio.cruisewithbruce.com/music/Sheri_Miller_alternative

Sheri Miller will be on a future progam to introduce her music and talk about traveling to New York City on vacation. Find out where to go, what to see and where to eat from a native New Yorker.

Sheri Miller is a NYC-based musician who writes melodic, poetic and catchy songs on guitar and piano with “exquisite sensitivity…talent…and originality” (MUSIC CONNECTION MAGAZINE) with her soulful, inspiring, and distinctly unique voice. Upon releasing her critically-acclaimed debut EP, “Mantra” in 2008, which features underground hit “Right Here, Right Now”, Sheri was named one of Music Connection’s “Hot 100 Unsigned Artists,” played on KCRW and Q104.3 FM, and asked to join a 4-part vocal harmony group, The Delilahs, which signed with Sony. Since leaving the band, Sheri has co-written with icon songwriters like J.D. Souther (Eagles), Shawn Mullins and Jill Sobule. Sheri’s stunning new record, “Winning Hand”, produced by legendary Kevin Killen (U2, Peter Gabriel), features incredible musicians Will Lee (Fab Faux, CBS Orchestra), Charley Drayton (Fiona Apple, Divinylis, Johnny Cash), and Gerry Leonard (David Bowie, Suzanne Vega) and will be released in 2011.
