TIP: Driving? Avoid speed traps in Philadelphia

Here’s a tip from Joe for people driving around Philly:

If you are driving to Philadelphia or driving around — be sure to have PhantomALERT on your smart phone or GPS because red light cameras are throughout the city. The download alerts drivers with audio & visual alerts giving them enough time to slow down and avoid a too short yellow light which will turn red before you can get through it — which means an expensive photo-ticket in the mail a week later!

PhantomALERT is safe, legal and reliable and the database has intersections across the U.S. and Canada.

Thanks for the tip, Joe

TIP: Nosh to find what’s good in Philadelphia

TIP: Nosh to find what’s good in Philadelphia

Here’s a tip from Jeremy for people visiting Philly:

Nosh is a new iPhone and Android application helps you find great food in Philadelphia.

Nosh helps people find what’s good near them – using the iPhone or Android maps – based not on the restaurant, but on menu items. People use Nosh to review menu items to help others find what’s good (as well as rate themselves to help others).

It’s perfect because when you’re in a new city, people tell you to go to this restaurant or that place, but never really what to eat. That’s the problem that Nosh solves for people.

Thanks for the tip, Jeremy
