When I first started the CruiseWithBruce.com website it was to provide one place for my family and friends to see a photo-journal for my last trip. As time passed by I added more and more content, then a “Travel-o-city” / “Orbitz” / “Price Line” type of booking engine. A year ago I started the Cruise with Bruce radio show as a lark to promote my website. Well, needless to say everything has taken off. With the help of several advisors as well as others and great guests, the project has taken hold. God only knows what will happen in the future but like everything that I’ve done in the past, I’ve enjoyed the journey.

Well the numbers for the first six months are in. Because of all of your support they are astounding. I now have:

Over 10,568 listeners of the Cruise with Bruce Radio show.

Average of 16,258 unique visitors per month to my website for the first six months of the year. And to the dismay of my hosting company, I am using all of the resources that they provide to accommodate over 75,000 queries per hour during peak periods.

Over 1.458 million page views during the first half of 2011.

When my friend and Board Member Tony Pace called a couple of weeks ago he suggested that I should add a line of merchandise to my site.

Musical Guests

During the first half of 2011, I interviewed several musical guests starting with my friend and headliner in Las Vegas, Tony Pace (Look for him on your next trip to Vegas). Because of the great response to Tony and my other guests: Chris Geith (Jazz musician featured on the Weather Channel) who spoke about Milan Italy & Peter Fox (Vocalist) who spoke about Washington DC, I decided to add a series of musicians who introduce their music and talk about their favorite travel destination.

The Olympic Radio Series has started.

During the next year I will be interviewing guests who will follow the first three programs that I had with Jonathan Edwards to kick off the series. My line-up includes members of the US Olympic Committee, athletes, trainers and members of the Visit Britain Tourism Bureau.
