Getty's Birds
A scene at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. The birds, flower and creature, were captured on film near the restaurant on the West side. I've turned it into the watercolor that you see here.
Architecks of the 10 acre +/- complex said that they were given endless cash to do anything they wanted to create this amazing site. J Paul Getty, one of America's early Billionaires, gave an endowment to build the complex. No corners were cut.
FREE to the public - $10 to park. Be prepared to spend a full day looking at the gardens, buildings, museum, etc.. It is just amazing. And the scenery is breath taking.
